ImageGear Professional for Windows ActiveX
IGProcessingCtl and IGEffectsCtl

Some applications need to be able to process the image in some way. For example, the application may need to be able to resize the image, or adjust its contrast/brightness. The IGProcessingCtl Control is used to perform many of the image processing functions. Other objects (e.g., IGEffectsCtl Control, IGArtXCtl Control, etc.) function in the same way as IGProcessingCtl Control - they define a series of functions that can be applied to the image in any IGPage Object. Once the image in the IGPage Object has been modified, it is up to the application to call IGFormatsCtl Control again, to save the modified image. Like IGCoreCtl Control, IGProcessingCtl Control is an ActiveX control, which allows you to use it in the UI designer tool of each development environment. Like IGCoreCtl Control, IGProcessingCtl Control presents no user interface to the application end-user at run-time - it is visible only at design-time. Your application program must associate the IGProcessingCtl Control (and IGEffectsCtl Control, etc.) with the IGCoreCtl Control before using it - this is typically done when your application first starts up.
