ImageGear supports both DICOM raster and vector (waveform) images. ImageGear loads waveform images in vector form. You can use Vector component API to modify waveform images that have been loaded to ImageGear. Use any image loading functions to load DICOM waveform images.
ImageGear reads and displays waveform data (graphs), as well as axes and some annotations.
As of this writing, ImageGear creates the following annotations for waveform images:
- X axis with second marks, according to SamplingFrequency tag value.
- X axis for every image, if it is visible and does not intersect with other images.
- Y axis for all images.
- Minimum and maximum Y values for each graph.
- The Print Management Service Class defines an application-level class-of-service which facilitates the printing of images and image related data on a hard copy medium.
- The Media Storage Service Class defines an application-level class-of-service which facilitates the simple transfer of images and associated information between DICOM AEs by means of Storage Media.
- The Storage Commitment Service Class defines an application-level class-of-service which facilitates the commitment to store SOP Instances.
- The Basic Worklist Management Service Class defines an application-level class-of-service which facilitates the access to worklists.
