DICOM FileMetaInformation Header also contains a special field called Preamble. It is an array of 128 bytes, which is placed at the beginning of the image. It is not structured as a DICOM Data Element, and does not have a Tag number associated with it. Thus, ImageGear Medical stores Preamble as a separate object that behaves as a fixed size Byte array.
