Tags

The scanning process is characterized by a set of control parameters (tags in ISIS terms) that define image properties, such as color, dither pattern, resolution, orientation, and page size format, brightness and contrast control, and the size and position of the image on the page. There are 2 objects used in conjunction with tags:

IGISISTagChoice Object contains the specification for the tag: its data type and legal values
IGISISTagValue Object is used to actually get and change the value of a tag.

Every tag is identified by an ID, which must be one of the values in enumIGISISTags Enumeration. Call GetTagChoice Method with the ID value for a given tag to determine the "rules" for using the tag. Call GetTagValue Method with the ID to get the current value of the tag, and call UpdateTagValueFrom Method with the ID to change the value of the tag. You can also get the default value of a tag by calling GetTagDefaultValue Method or reset the specified tag to its default value by calling GetTagDefaultValue Method.
