From the Connection Strings dialog, you can create a new connection or edit an existing connection:

Connection String Parameter Description
Name Defines the value that will be listed in the Connection String drop-down list, when defining a Connection String for handling Images or ART data in the SQL Data Provider.
Value A text string that defines the connection string. For details on database provider-specific connection strings, refer to: http://www.connectionstrings.com/.
In Use If checked, this Connection String is set as an active Connection String for an SQL Data Provider.
