Description

Retrieves the text string from the specified menu item.

Parameters

Menu
ValueDescription
Menu_ContextContext menu activated.
Menu_ToolbarToolbar menu activated.

When the menu type is Menu_Toolbar, then the Tool parameter is the Tool ID that the menu is associated with.

When the menu type is Menu_Context, the Tool parameter has no meaning and can be any value.

Sub-level menu ID to change, if this is to change a sub-level menu item, otherwise this parameter should be 0.

Return Type

The text of the menu item.

Remarks

Note: The Toolbar must be activated before any context menus can be modified.
