Automatically assesses and adjusts contrast in light or dark regions of the image.

Remarks
This method can be useful for bringing more detail into shadowy areas of the image, without washing out the light regions, or correcting photos with silhouetted images due to strong back-lighting.
Similar to AutoContrast method, but uses a different algorithm to treat light and dark regions independently.
