Barcode Xpress Editions

Barcode Xpress is available in four editions, 1D Standard, 1D Professional, 1D/2D Standard, and 1D/2D Professional. Barcode Xpress 1D/2D Professional has the maximum functionality available.

• Standard Editions are for deploying a moderate speed scanning solution.
  • 1D Standard – Reads and writes 1D barcodes at a 40 pages per minute speed limit.
  • 1D/2D Standard – Reads and writes 1D/2D barcodes at a 40 pages per minute speed limit.
• Professional Editions provide unlimited speed; they are for high-end, high-volume imaging applications where speed is critical for the success of the application. They support all reading speeds that the processor allows, enabling integrators to provide various speed and price options.
  • 1D Professional – Reads and writes 1D barcodes with unlimited processing speed. 
  • 1D/2D Professional – Reads and writes 1D/2D barcodes with unlimited processing speed.

When using trial (unpaid) licensing, the words " UNLICENSED accusoft.com " will appear in the middle of every Data Matrix, QR Code and PDF417 barcode created, taking up 25 bytes of space including a space before and after. When testing the contents of generated barcodes, be aware of the extra space requirements.

Barcode Xpress works with 1, 8, or 24-bit images.
