Image Toolbar

The Image Toolbar includes the following tools:

Zoom In

When you click on Zoom In (or press the keyboard shortcut +), the image appears larger by the listed percentage. The zoom percentage can be adjusted using the Viewer Preferences dialog. The default value is 25%.

Zoom Out

When you click on Zoom Out (or press the keyboard shortcut -), the image appears smaller by the listed percentage. The zoom percentage can be adjusted using the Viewer Preferences dialog. The default value is 25%.

Full Image

When you click on Full Image, Prizm® Viewer adjusts the display to show the entire image in a single view within the viewing window.

Full Width

When you click on Full Width, Prizm Viewer adjusts the display of the image to match the width of the image window, and matches the left edge of the image to the left edge of the image window if the image is wider than the image window. Scrollbars are added if the image width exceeds the display width.

Full Height

When you click on Full Height, Prizm Viewer adjusts the display of the image to match the height of the image window, and matches the top of the image to the left edge of the image window if the image is taller than the image window. Scrollbars are added if the image height exceeds the display height.

1 to1 Ratio

When you click on 1 to 1 Ratio, Prizm Viewer displays the image at its full size. Scrollbars will be added if they are needed to display the entire image.

Rotate Left

When you click on Rotate Left, Prizm Viewer rotates the image (and annotations, if any) counter-clockwise by 90 degrees.

Rotate Right

When you click on Rotate Right, Prizm Viewer rotates the image (and annotations, if any) clockwise by 90 degrees.

Reset All Page Settings

When you click on Reset All Page Settings, Prizm Viewer returns the image display to settings used when the image was originally opened.

Zoom Selection

When you click on Zoom Selection, you can zoom in on a specified area. To use this option, first click on the Area Selection Tool on the Mouse Toolbar to select an area on the image, then click on Zoom Selection to zoom in on the specified area.

Reset Zoom

When you click on Reset Zoom, the zoom in feature returns to its original state.

Actual Size

When you click on Actual Size, Prizm Viewer displays the image by its true (or actual) dimensions (in Inches and Pixels).

Mirror Horizontal

When you click on Mirror Horizontal, Prizm Viewer mirrors the image horizontally from its original state.

Mirror Vertical

When you click on Mirror Vertical, Prizm Viewer mirrors the image vertically from its original state.

Invert Colors

When you click on Invert Colors, Prizm Viewer switches black and white on bitonal images and inverts colors on color images.

Smooth

When you click on Smooth, square edges are reduced and they are smoothed out for maximum viewing.

Preserve Lines

When you click on Preserve Lines, Prizm Viewer enhances any lines or black areas of the image.

Brightness...

When you click on Brightness..., Prizm Viewer brightens or darkens the image as desired.

Contrast...

When you click on Contrast..., Prizm Viewer creates more or less contrast as desired.
