Deployment architecture overview
The deployment of the VirtualViewer allows for flexible deployment architecture. It’s critical for the Deployment Engineers and the Infrastructure Architects to accurately identify the business expectations for performance to ensure the ideal deployment architecture is implemented.
There are two recommended models of deployment:
Single Server Deployment Model
The singe server deployment model utilizes the application server, which runs the ECM application, for deploying & configuring the VirtualViewer server. The biggest benefit of this model is its ability for swift setup and configuration to get the application up & running. The scalability however is limited to the hardware configuration expandability.
Distributed Deployment Model
The VirtualViewer in this deployment model conforms to scale the application for future growth. The Distributed deployment model, consequently, is the preferred deployment model for Production environments.
