ScanFix® Xpress runs on supported Microsoft Operating Systems:

• Windows 2000 Professional
• Windows XP, XP Professional
• Windows Vista
• Windows 7
• Windows Server 2000
• Windows Server 2003
• Windows Server 2008

ScanFix Xpress works with 32-bit Windows versions on 32-bit and 64-bit processors. It runs in 32-bit executables running under 64-bit XP, Vista, Windows Server 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, and Windows 7.

Threading

ScanFix Xpress is a synchronous or asynchronous multi-thread control. Accusoft Pegasus considers thread-safe to be when an application using this component can use multiple controls running in the same process, where they don't interfere with each other. The thread creating the control owns the control and is the only thread that can interact with it. 

There is also a ScanFix Xpress .NET Windows Forms control.

Development Environment

• ScanFix Xpress can be used in any development environment that hosts ActiveX/COM controls.
