New features and improvements
Improved PDF graphics rendering (preview)
Graphics rendering for PDF files has been improved with a new optional rendering mode, PdfRenderingMode.Apryse. This mode uses Apryse technology to much more accurately render the content of PDF pages to images and vector graphics. This is a preview feature that will be iterated further in future releases.
You can enable this mode by calling Snowbnd.setPdfRenderingMode(PdfRenderingMode.Apryse) at least once at startup.
Note: If you are using Maven to add RasterMaster to your project, it will need a reference to the PDFNet repository. Add these lines near the top of your
pom.xmlfile:
<repositories>
<repository>
<id>pdftron</id>
<name>PDFNet Maven</name>
<url>https://pdftron.com/maven/release</url>
</repository>
</repositories>
Deprecation notice
The legacy Snowbound PDF renderer is no longer maintained and will be removed in a future release.
