getReferenceNumber Method

Returns Reference Number IPTC dataset.

Method returnsthe tag value if the tag is present in the metadata tree, or null otherwise.

This method accesses the Reference Number DataSet (2:50). The DataSet identifies the Envelope Number of a prior envelope to which the current object refers.

Repeatable (array items represent repeated values), eight bytes, consisting of numeric characters.

Syntax

public java.lang.String[] getReferenceNumber()

Return Value

Array of strings. *
