getDateCreated Method

Returns Date Created IPTC dataset.

Method returnsthe tag value if the tag is present in the metadata tree, or null otherwise.

This method accesses the DateCreated DataSet (2:55). The DataSet represented in the form CCYYMMDD to designate the date the intellectual content of the objectdata was created rather than the date of the creation of the physical representation.

Contains eight bytes, consisting of numeric characters.
