This chapter provides tutorials that demonstrate how to create and build the ImageGear for Java Core sample applications using both the Eclipse IDE and NetBeans IDE.

The Core sample is a GUI application that was built with NetBeans. Therefore, the GUI can be modified using the NetBeans GUI Builder (a WYSIWYG editor). However, if you are using the Eclipse IDE, you can edit the source for the UI, but you will not have the WYSIWYG editor available to you, without installing a plugin.
