Specifies the bit depth and number of colors for the DisplayMode property.

| DM_PaletteColor | 1 | 256 Color (8-bit) images will be rendered using 256 colors unless the current display setting is 16 colors. |
| DM_TrueColor | 0 | True Color (24-bit) images will be rendered at the maximum color depth supported by the current display setting (Default). |
| DM_VGAColor | 2 | 16 Color (4-bit) images will be rendered using 16 colors. |
