Description

Specifies how ImagXpress will behave when on the installed development machine in evaluation (non-licensed) mode.

In Automatic Mode: 

  • when running under an IIS server, the mode is switched to Watermark and all images passed through the component are watermarked.
  • otherwise, the component will regularly display a dialog box stating it is in Trial Licensing mode.
EVAL_Watermark1Every image opened in ImagXpress is permanently watermarked with Accusoft.

Remarks

Note: In order to test the component in an application running as a service or other environments where the component would not have permissions to create a window, the application should set the EvaluationMode to Watermark. The component will not attempt to create its Evaluation Mode window, but it will permanently watermark all image data passed through it.
