How To > Work with Annotations > Overview of Working with Annotations |
The section discusses how to work with annotations by setting preferences, creating/reloading/reverting/deleting annotations and viewing/modifying annotation properties:
Annotation preferences allow you to select an annotation loading source, revise default values and configure mappings and annotation option values like fill colors and line widths. To set annotation preferences, refer to the Annotations Preferences topic.
Add annotations to the image by using the following available shapes (rectangle, ellipse, highlight, line, note, stamp, text, polyline, polygon, and freehand). For specific instructions on how to create and edit annotations, refer to the Annotation Tools section in the Mouse Toolbar topic.
Annotations can be reloaded, edited, deleted, or reverted to the original state (when Prizm Viewer first opened) using either the toolbar buttons, or the right-click context menu. To use the right-click context menu, choose the Select Annotation tool, then right-click over an annotation. For more information, refer to the Annotation Toolbar topic.
Additionally, you can delete an annotation by selecting it with the mouse and pressing the Delete key or Ctrl+X keys. |
The Annotation Properties docking window displays the current settings for the selected annotation and allows you to change those settings. For for information on how to view and modify annotation properties, refer to the Annotation Properties topic.
