The Annotation Properties docking window displays the current settings for the selected annotation and allows you to change those settings:
- Select an annotation within the viewing window and the properties of the selected annotation display within the annotation properties docking window.
- Change values for each annotation within this window.

Notes & Tips
- Opening an Annotation File Created in NotateXpress™ - If you open an annotation file that was created in NotateXpress v9.0 or later (and contains an ImageTool, Ruler or Button annotation), you will be able to view the annotation. If you select the annotation, it will not display in the Annotation Properties docking window and if you right-click on the annotation, you will not be able to delete it.
- Note Annotation - The character limit within the Note Annotation is limited to 4096 characters.
- Stamp Annotation - The date stamp within the Stamp Annotation cannot be modified or removed. However, you can modify the text by selecting "Use this text" and entering your own text as desired.
