Upgrading from ThumbnailXpress 5 to ThumbnailXpress 6

This section describes how to upgrade from ThumbnailXpress 5 to ThumbnailXpress 6. While generally you'll be able to replace ThumbnailXpress 5 with ThumbnailXpress 6, there are a few important changes you may need to consider. This section provides information about those changes.

New and Modified API

ThumbnailXpress 6 Service Pack 1 introduces the following API modification:

PDF support is deprecated in ImagXpress, please use PDF Xpress instead for PDF support for thumbnailing via the UsePdfXpressForPDFsOnly property.
