The SmartZone OCR component contains all the necessary objects, methods, and properties it takes for you to perform high accuracy zonal OCR recognition.
In order to obtain optimum recognition results, SmartZone OCR provides the ability to perform segmentation, select preferred character sets, reject characters, and establish minimum acceptable confidence values. Recognition results can be improved when (masking) field types are specified, if that is appropriate, and regular expressions can be created if the off-the-shelf masking can be augmented with more specific formatting expectations. If a list of possible data contents is known, it can be provided and recognition will be enhanced.
Additionally, SmartZone OCR includes features to operate seamless integration with other Accusoft components included in the Accusoft FormSuite product.
