Introduction

The OCR Readers Worker can run on a wide variety of server configurations, but there are certain computing resource constraints that should be kept in mind for optimal performance:

• OCR Processing is resource intensive. When possible, running no more than one worker process per physical core will provide optimal throughput.
• OCR Worker instances in virtualized environments should be allocated at least one 1000Mb of RAM.
