PAS Licenses

To use the Hybrid Viewing and PDF-only Viewing Packages features, you will need to:

• Install a Metered License and configure PAS with a license as explained below.

• Set up a database for Online and Offline Metered Licensing.

  NOTE: If you aren't using the Hybrid Viewing and PDF-only Viewing Packages features, you don't need a Metered License nor do you need to configure PAS with a license.

Setting Up a License in PAS

Set the License Key and Solution Name in the Config File

1. Edit your pas.win.yml / pas.nix.yml

2. Set the License Key and Solution Name:

   license.key: YOUR_LICENSE_KEY
   license.solutionName: YOUR_SOLUTION_NAME
   
   

Metered Licensing

When using a Metered License, PAS will report its usage to PrizmDoc Server. This means that there is no separate reporting step or configuration for PAS other then setting up the license as described above. All usage data will be included in the reports generated by PrizmDoc Server, both for Online and Offline Licenses.
