This section describes how to upgrade from PrintPRO 7 to PrintPRO 8. While generally you'll be able to replace PrintPRO 7 with PrintPRO 8, there are a few important changes you may need to consider. This section provides information about those changes.

Library Name, GUID, and ProgID

• The library name has changed from AccusoftPrintPro7 to AccusoftPrintPro8.
• The GUID for the PrintPro ActiveX control has changed in PrintPRO 7 from {7505682E-1972-46B5-806C-19CF7D97AE37} to the new value in PrintPRO 8 of {8C907A40-DBF5-470F-85D6-F25295B118E2}.
• The ProgID has changed from ‘Accusoft.PrintPro.7’ to ‘Accusoft.PrintPro.8’.
