NotateXpress 13 for .NET - User Guide > How To > Define End-User Interface > Configure Toolbars |
The NotateXpress™ toolbar contains annotation tools, enabling the application end user to annotate the image. An annotation is created by the application end user when a tool is selected in the toolbar and applied to the viewed image.
It is common to have NotateXpress' toolbar visible while ImagXpress' toolbar is also visible. If ImagXpress' toolbar is currently set to a tool other than the pointer, the NotateXpress toolbar tools will not activate.
Inform the user to set the ImagXpress tool to the pointer to be able to use the NotateXpress toolbar. |
Each annotation layer has its own toolbar, with attributes that define that toolbar's appearance and behavior.
When a new layer is created, the NotateXpress.ToolbarDefaults specify the attributes of the toolbar created on that new layer.
To manage the toolbar attributes on an individual existing layer, access the Toolbar associated with that Layer. Each tool within the layer's toolbar has a set of associated attributes that define the characteristics of the annotations it creates when applied to the viewed image. These tool attributes are specified by setting the ToolbarDefaults properties on the layer's toolbar.
