Retrieve Annotations Stored in a TIFF File

When loading a TIFF file into ImagXpress®, the annotations stored in the TIFF file can be automatically loaded into NotateXpress™.

Prior to loading an image, set the ImagXpressLoad property to establish whether annotations are loaded from a TIFF file when the TIFF file containing annotations is loaded by ImagXpress. Call the SetLoadOptions method to set the load options, including the desired annotation format (Wang/Imaging for Windows compatible format or NotateXpress format) to be retrieved from the TIFF file.

Once the image is loaded using ImagXpress (ImageX object), the annotations are available in the NotateXpress Layers collection.

NotateXpress supports the following WANG annotation types:

Straight line
Freehand line
Filled rectangle
Hollow rectangle
Text stamp
Typed text
Attach-a-Note
Image embedded
