When loading a TIFF file into ImagXpress®, the annotations stored in the TIFF file can be automatically loaded into NotateXpress™. Prior to loading an image, set the LoadAnnotations property to establish whether annotations are loaded from a TIFF file when the TIFF file containing annotations is loaded by ImagXpress. Use the AnnotationType property to establish the annotation format (Wang/Imaging for Windows compatible format, or NotateXpress format) to be saved or retrieved from TIFF files.  

NotateXpress supports the following WANG annotation types:

• Straight line
• Freehand line
• Filled rectangle
• Hollow rectangle
• Text stamp
• Typed text
• Attach-a-Note
• Image embedded
