Trial Mode
Default Installation
The default installation for MICR Xpress SDK includes Trial Mode licensing. Trial Mode Licensing allows you to test all component features and functions and develop applications, but not distribute them. Installing MICR Xpress in trial mode provides you with access to all features and functionality of the MICR Xpress product. E-mail support is available with the trial license.
When using the trial version of MICR Xpress, an evaluation dialog box displays periodically.
Applications built with a trial license can only be run on a computer that has MICR Xpress Licensing installed on it. See Runtime Licensing for information on licensing requirements to deploy applications built using MICR Xpress.
Changing Trial Mode Behavior
You have the flexibility to change the behavior of MICR Xpress in evaluation mode as follows:
- To facilitate server/service mode evaluations, you can choose to halt the component processing after 5 minutes in lieu of displaying an evaluation dialog box periodically. To invoke this option, choose the EvaluationMode.Timeout setting for the EvaluationMode property.
