Loading an Image
MICR Xpress has no native ability to load an image from a file.
Accusoft Pegasus’ ImagXpress component provided with the MICR Xpress product can be used to open an image file and put the image into memory, where it can be made available for processing by other Accusoft Pegasus components. If special handling is warranted due to especially dark or damaged images, ImagXpress offers several options that may improve image quality, and hence, recognition results. Consider adjusting the image brightness and/or contrast, and setting specific parameters to binarize the image if you are not satisfied with results available through MICR Xpress.
Streaming Information
MICR Xpress also provides the ability to read and write to a stream using the MicrXpress.ReadFromStream and MicrXpress.WriteToStream methods. These streaming methods are provided to work with the Accusoft Pegasus FormDirector component for reading and writing MICR Xpress processing information and operations as needed to integrate into the Accusoft Pegasus Forms Processing Suite of components if that is desired.
