Returns 0 if successful. Otherwise, returns the number of ImageGear errors that occurred during this function call.
This function does not process image pixels.

Currently every vertex can only have an attribute of the type float. If the vertex has an attribute, its type is returned with the parameter lpAttribType and value with lpAttrib. Otherwise, both lpAttribType and lpAttrib return NULL.
