IG_ISIS_TAG_LASTPAGE_ENDORSER is the ASCII string that specifies the actual text that was printed on the page. This tag is only forwarded, so the value obtained through IG_ISIS_tag_get_ascii is meaningless.
This tag should never be forwarded with any token codes present, unless the token codes were printed on the page rather than interpreted.
Type:
IG_ISIS_TAG_TYPE_STRING
Drivers:
Drivers for all scanners that have an endorser.
Values:
The value of this tag varies based on the scanner.
The ISIS driver processes any token codes in IG_ISIS_TAG_LASTPAGE_ENDORSER to determine the correct string printed on the page. If the scanner controls some aspects of the token codes, then the scanner must return this information to the ISIS driver. For example, if ScanAhead is enabled on a scanner and the scanner prints the time to the second, then the scanner must return what was printed on the page because the ISIS driver can not determine within a second exactly when the page was scanned.
