This function returns the original Transfer Syntax used for the image, and indicates whether of not it had a Part 10 header and the group length Data Elements.

A far pointer that returns a Boolean value indicating whether the original DICOM image had any Group Length Data Elements in it. TRUE means that it did have Group Length Data Elements; FALSE means that there were none. Set to NULL if you do not need this information. |
Return Value:
Returns the number of ImageGear errors that occurred during the function call.
Supported Raster Image Formats:
This function does not process image pixels.
The image must have a DICOM DataSet attached to it. Use MED_DCM_DS_exists to check whether the image contains a DataSet.
