Specifies the tradeoff setting of the recognition engine that will be applied during auto-zoning and recognition.

Arguments:

Name Type Description
Tradeoff enumIGRecRMTradeoff Trade-off setting to be set.

Return Value:

Returns the number of ImageGear errors that occurred during this function call.

Supported Raster Image Formats:

This function does not process image pixels.

Remarks:

This setting applies to all the relevant recognition modules.

  1. Currently the trade-off setting is effective for the following recognition modules:
    • IG_REC_RM_OMNIFONT_MOR: omnifont multi-lingual module
    • IG_REC_RM_OMNIFONT_MTX: omnifont module
  2. This setting does not influence the behavior of any other enumIGRecRecognitionModule recognition module. Not all of the above modules interpret the settings in the same way.
  3. If this function is not called, the default value IG_REC_TO_ACCURATE is applied.
