For programming, the current Code Page setting of the Engine can be inquired by IG_REC_output_codepage_info_get. The exact list of available Code Pages can be obtained from IG_REC_output_codepage_get.
The Windows ANSI name here is not connected with the real ANSI character set (ISO 8859-1). In fact, this is the code page 1252 (Windows CP 1252).
