This function computes the forward Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) of the input image.

Arguments:

Name Type Description
hIGear HIGEAR HIGEAR handle of image to be processed.
lphIGComplexObj LPHIGCOMPLEXOBJ HIGCOMPLEXOBJ handle of result data.

Return Value:

Returns the number of ImageGear errors that occurred during this function call.

Supported Raster Image Formats:

Grayscale - 8, 16, 32 bpp.

Remarks:

The difference between this function and IG_FIP_DCT_forward() is that this function takes a HIGEAR as the input.
