ImageGear for C and C++ on Windows v19.0
IG_IP_detect_area

Detects an area of pixels using a user-defined pixel checker and returns the area being detected as a ROI structure.

Declaration:

AT_ERRCOUNT ACCUAPI IG_IP_detect_area(
        HIGEAR hIGear,
        AT_INT xPos,
        AT_INT yPos,
        LPAT_VOID detectStruct,
        LPFNIG_CHECK_PIXEL detectFunc,
        LPAT_RECT lpRect,
        AT_NR_ROI_MASK* lpMask
);

Arguments:

Name Type Description
hIGear HIGEAR Image to analyze.
xPos AT_INT X coordinate of a point inside the area to be detected.
yPos AT_INT Y coordinate of a point inside the area to be detected.
detectStruct LPAT_VOID A pointer to a user-defined structure that will be passed to the callback function. See LPFNIG_CHECK_PIXEL.
detectFunc LPFNIG_CHECK_PIXEL Callback function that checks whether specified pixel belongs to the area or not.
lpRect LPAT_RECT Rectangular area to apply the effect to, or NULL for whole image.
lpMask AT_NR_ROI_MASK* Returns the ROI mask.

Return Value:

Returns the number of ImageGear errors that occurred during this function call.

Supported Raster Image Formats:

All pixel formats supported by ImageGear for C and C++.

Actual set of pixel formats supported by this function can be narrower, depending on the implementation of the user-defined callback function.
