This function returns the Transfer Syntax constant that corresponds to the value of DCM_PART10_ITEM_TRANSSYNTAXUID part 10 item in the DataSet.

The image must have a DICOM DataSet attached to it. Use MED_DCM_DS_exists to check whether the image contains a DataSet. |
