ImageGear Professional v18.2 > API Reference Guide > Effects Component API Reference > Effects Component Objects > IGEffectsCtl Control > IGEffectsCtl Methods > EmbossEx Method |
Produces an embossed or 3-D like chiseled-in-stone look to the image referenced by pPage object. The result looks similar to the engraved face of a coin. The greater the value of Strength parameter, the greater the effect will be (higher ridges and lower depressions). Direction parameter specifies direction in which the image will appear elevated. The greater the Height parameter, the more the resulting image will appear to be offset in the embossed direction.
This method takes into account the ROI settings of pPage object, that are accessible via the IGPage Object.ROI Property. By default ROI is set to the entire image.
