Runtime Licensing

Runtime licenses are intended for when a development project has been completed and is ready to deploy to an end-user system. It enables the features that you have licensed.

These types of licenses should only be used for deployments. Runtime licenses should not be used on development machines, as this can deplete the amount of available licenses from your license pool (with respect to node-locked licenses).

When an application that uses one or more Accusoft products is deployed, it requires a Runtime License for each installation.

There are two main types of Runtime Licenses:

Node-Locked Licensing - Automatically Reported Runtime licenses that are handled automatically through the licensing software components and web services.
OEM Licensing - Manually Reported Runtime licensing that requires you to provide the number of licenses distributed on a contractually agreed upon basis.
