ImageGear .NET v24.0

PDF AcroForms

ImageGear .NET v24 introduces the following AcroForms improvements:

• Added support for displaying digital signature fields.
• Added support to sort ListBox and ComboBox fields.
• Text fields used for passwords can now be masked to users when entering them into a form.
• Added support for Push Buttons, including appearance customization.
• Added support for text justification to TextFields, ListBoxes, ComboBoxes, and PushButtons.
• Added automatic spacing for text fields (COMB flag) for optimal display.
• Improved API programmatic navigation for objects, specifically between widgets and fields.

Office

In ImageGear .NET v24, we added several improvements to our Microsoft Office support for more stability.

CAD

ImageGear .NET v24 includes the following CAD improvements:

• Upgraded to a more robust, flexible, and easy-to-use API design.
• Improved CAD rendering fidelity, and added powerful export capabilities to other document and image formats.
• Added code samples to demonstrate rendering, content manipulation, and export to other formats.
• Added support for:
  • AutoCad 2018
  • Lighting control
  • Camera control
  • Customized color palette for document background and CAD objects
  • Text extraction for individual layouts
  • Export to PDF and 3D PDF (including custom view and light sources)
  • Export to stacked SVG (multi-layered SVG file that corresponds to the layers in the CAD file)
  • Password protected DWG and DXF files
• Overhauled CAD documentation section:
  • Added a new Getting Started with CAD tutorial.
  • Added code snippets throughout the section.
  • Re-organized content to improve overall usability.
