Licensing ASP.NET Components

The Licensing dialog allows you to set your ASP.NET applications licensing method for ImageGear for .NET which includes setting the licensing type and defining deployment licensing codes:

Licensing Type: Defines the type of licensing, Distribution or Evaluation/Development, that will be used to license the ImageGear for .NET ASP.NET functionality. Depending on which option is selected from the drop-down list, the other fields within the dialog will be enable or disabled.

License Type Description

EvaluationOrDevelopment32 This option will instruct the Services to use the licensing obtained by the License Manager utility. The licensing for this option assumes that the ImageGear for .NET 32-bit product was installed and licensed. Selecting this option will disable the Solution Name, Solution Keys and License Key fields.

EvaluationOrDevelopment64 This option will instruct the Services to use the licensing obtained by the License Manager utility. The licensing for this option assumes that the ImageGear for .NET 64-bit product was installed and licensed. Selecting this option will disable the Solution Name, Solution Keys and License Key fields.

Distribution Selecting this option will set your application to use purchased deployment licensing. The Solution Name, Solution Keys and License Key fields will be enabled and will need to be populated with the information provided in the licensing e-mail correspondence.

Solution Name: In this field you will need to enter the Solution Name provided to you when you purchased distribution licensing for your application. If you do not have this value please contact sales@accusoft.com. This field is required when using the Distribution Licensing.

Solution Keys: The Solution Keys consist of four values. This field is required when using the Distribution Licensing.

License Key: If you purchased OEM licensing, you will have been provided an OEM License Key. OEM license keys will unlock the ImageGear for .NET ASP.NET functionality to run in any environment. The License Key is optional; if it is not provided ImageGear for .NET will expect a license to have been obtained using the Server Licensing process. The Server Licensing Process will place a license key into the systems registry.
