Microsoft Office Support

• Rendering of Microsoft Office Open XML Word files has been improved
• ImageGear for .NET now has the ability to load and display Microsoft Office Excel files

ASP.NET/HTML5 Functionality Updates

• ASP.NET can now use multiple image providers
• Upload Service allows Images to be stored on the server

PDF Improvements

• Update to PDF and PS libraries to support new PDF and PS files

File Format Updates

• HDIB interface simplifies the interaction of ImageGear for .NET and the Accusoft Xpress line of products

DICOM Multi-Planar Reconstruction (MPR)

• ImageGear for .NET now has the ability to perform Multi-planar reconstruction
• Display Components allow for Axial, Coronal, Sagittal and Oblique views to be displayed and manipulated

Metadata Handling

• Read and update Metadata without decoding or recompressing image data
• Expanded support for XMP Metadata (JPEG 2000, GIF and PNG)

Annotation Improvements

• ImageGear for .NET can now supports the display and conversion of NotateXpress XML Annotation data
• Annotation security control extended to enable more granular access control settings
• Legacy mark appearance mode improves display of Legacy Annotations
