Load Image using OLE Drag-and-Drop

ImagXpress® supports OLE drag-and-drop, a powerful tool enabling you to move data between applications that support OLE drag-and-drop (such as many common Microsoft Applications, as well as other ImagXpress controls).

When OLEDropMode property is enabled, users can drag and drop data between applications and controls using the mouse.

A user selects an image to load into ImagXpress (by holding the mouse button down), selects the desired content in the source application or control, then drags it over to the ImagXpress control window. An OLEDragOver event triggers when this occurs, notifying the application that data is in the ImagXpress control.

When the user releases the mouse over the ImagXpress control, to "drop" the image into ImagXpress, an OLEDragDrop event is triggered by ImagXpress. This event notifies the application that the user requested the image be loaded into ImagXpress. The application is responsible for opening the data source and doing memory allocation/initialization and any clean up such as file closing, etc.
