FormSuite is composed of a set of classes that provide forms processing functionality. These classes are divided between seven primary .NET components:
- Accusoft.FormDirector.Net.dll
- Accusoft.FormFix.Net.dll
- Accusoft.ImagXpress13.Net.dll
- Accusoft.PDFXpress7.Net.dll
- Accusoft.ScanFixXpress.Net.dll
- Accusoft.SmartZoneICR.Net.dll
- Accusoft.SmartZoneOCR.Net.dll
FormSuite also provides the Forms API .NET component. Forms API is a set of classes that encapsulates the implementation required to connect FormSuite components together to build a forms processing application.
If you don't use Forms API, you can code against the APIs of the components of FormSuite to build a forms processing solution. To maximize the performance of these components, you have to understand the best practices to use with these APIs. Forms API takes this burden from you, the application developer, and implements a standard forms processing workflow using best practices of Accusoft's form processing and recognition components.
The Forms API is delivered as both source code and compiled binaries. Forms API ships as source code to allow developers to reuse the API in a solution that uses an alternative forms processing workflow with other recognition engines.
The Forms API source code has been built and provided as a .NET component:
