What's Included in FormSuite
FormSuite is available in two editions - FormSuite and FormSuite Lite.

Demonstration Applications
- FormAssist™ is a FormSuite demo application to quickly evaluate the FormSuite forms processing technology. FormAssist allows you to:
- quickly set up forms and processing instructions to create, save and manage form sets
- add form templates to form sets
- set up and add fields to form templates
- configure OCR, ICR, OMR, barcode recognition, and image cleanup operations
- process filled images to optimize settings for OCR, ICR, OMR, barcode recognition, and form identification.
To access the FormAssist help file installed with FormSuite, use the Windows Start menu: Start | Programs | Accusoft | Demonstration Programs | FormAssist 4 | - Forms Processing Server is a sample program provided in source form. It is a console application that demonstrates the use of Accusoft's high level FormsAPI for forms processing in batch mode.
- Forms Processing Server uses FormsAPI for interfacing to the FormSuite components.
- It also includes a separate project called XmlSerialization, which demonstrates how form processing results can be output to an XML file.
- It takes an input and an output directory as command line parameters. It then reads filled form images from the input directory, processes them, and puts the results in the output directory.
Components
- FormFix® lets you build powerful forms processing applications that include form recognition, registration, and dropout, along with image cleanup and OMR (optical mark recognition for check boxes, bubbles, etc). Designed for production-level forms processing, FormFix technology was chosen for the second decade in a row for largest data capture project in history, the Decennial United States Census.
FormFix comes in two editions - FormFix Professional is included in FormSuite, while FormFix Standard is included in FormSuite Lite.- FormFix Standard operates more slowly and has a minimum five second delay for form identification.
- FormFix Professional operates at the speed of your processor with no delay.

- FormDirector™ is dedicated to integrating the FormSuite components into a robust forms-processing product. It handles all read and write operations of form definition files and form set files.

- SmartZone™ SDKs make it easy to include the world’s best character recognition in your application. Just pass it an image clip and SmartZone returns the characters. It’s ideal for processing fields on forms, whether they were typed (OCR) or hand-printed (ICR).
Confidence values let you decide when an operator should review the results and alternate characters help them quickly select the correct result. SmartZone includes exclusive new technology that uses regular expressions to improve accuracy even further. When you know the format of the expected data in any field, you can increase overall accuracy by specifying which characters can occupy each position.
SmartZone ICR/OCR comes in two editions - SmartZone ICR/OCR Professional is included in FormSuite, while SmartZone ICR/OCR Standard FormSuite Lite.- SmartZone ICR/OCR Standard operates more slowly and has a delay of 10x when compared to the Professional edition. So if an operation takes 20 milliseconds in SmartZone Professional, it will take 200 milliseconds in SmartZone Standard.

- NotateXpress™ control is an invisible-at-runtime (windowless) control that adds powerful annotation functionality to the Accusoft ImagXpress component. NotateXpress enables annotation capability both programmatically and through application end-user interaction.
FormSuite Lite does not include NotateXpress.

- PrintPRO™ is a control that gives application programmers access to printing text, graphics and bitmaps on any printer installed on a system as well as directly to a variety of graphical file formats.
FormSuite Lite does not include PrintPro.
