This section describes how to upgrade from Barcode Xpress 13 to Barcode Xpress 14. While generally you'll be able to replace Barcode Xpress 13 with Barcode Xpress 14, there are a few important changes you may need to consider. This section provides information about those changes.

When upgrading from Barcode Xpress v13 to v14, no changes are required on your part.

New API

There was no new API in Barcode Xpress 14.

Deprecated API

Please see the list of the API properties that are deprecated below.

• Result class - BarcodeData property is deprecated, use the BarcodeDataAsByte property instead.
• BarcodeXpress class - ErrorLevel property is deprecated, use the DebugErrorLevel property instead.
• OrientationInfo Enumeration - AllOrientations is deprecated, use HorizontalVertical instead.
