This section describes the print options you can select on the Header/Footer tab:
Header Text
- Enter up to three lines to be printed at the top of each page text boxes - Enter desired text to be printed in the header. Blank lines will be skipped, so if you place text into the first and third lines, but the second line is blank, the first and third lines will be printed without a blank line between them. If you want to print blank lines, enter a space character into a line.
Footer Text
- Enter up to three lines to be printed at the bottom of each page text boxes - Enter desired text to be printed in the footer. Blank lines will be skipped, so if you place text into the first and third lines, but the second line is blank, the first and third lines will be printed without a blank line between them. If you want to print blank lines, enter a space character into a line.
Variables
The following variables can be used as part of a header or footer string:
- %date – Inserts the current local date in “mm/dd/yyyy” format.
- %time – Inserts the current local time in “hh:mm:ss” format.
- %gmdate – Inserts the Greenwich mean date in “mm/dd/yyyy” format.
- %gmtime – Inserts the Greenwich mean time in “hh:mm:ss” format.
- %filename – Inserts the file name (URL) of the image being printed.
- %pgnum – Inserts the page number for the page of the image being printed.
- %pgcnt – Inserts the total number of pages in the image file.
- %segment – Inserts the current poster section number for the page and the total number of poster sections being printed in “n-m” format.
Font Size
- Font Size (Points) - Select the font size for the header and footer text. An example of the font size is displayed in the text box next to the font size selection drop-down box.

Saving Settings - If you make selections in the Header/Footer tab and want those settings to remain as the default, click Save as Default. |
