Upgrade to Prizm Viewer v10

Prizm Viewer will support most Prizm Viewer v9 (legacy) features. However, support for legacy features will be dropped in future versions of Prizm Viewer. You are strongly encouraged to upgrade your application to current Prizm Viewer standards.

Prizm Viewer contains a number of new features that earlier versions of Prizm Viewer did not offer. To take advantage of these new features, there are changes that you may need to take to your web application. The following provides more information about changes you may need to make to take advantage of the new features.

HTML

Prizm Viewer can use the same HTML object/embed tags that previous versions of Prizm Viewer used, so no changes to your HTML are required to move to Prizm Viewer. There are new features that are available through additional tag/property values. See the Embed Prizm Viewer in a Web Page topic for more information.

List Files

Prizm Viewer provides support for prior Prizm Viewer version (legacy) list files. However, there are significant new features that are available when using a list file that are not available when using legacy list files. See the Create List Files topic for more information.

Annotations

If you are upgrading your web application, and your web application includes the use of Prizm Viewer annotations, refer to the Annotations topic for more detailed information.
