To Install OCR Xpress for Java Component

  1. Download and extract "OCRXpressJava_3.2_Linux64.tar.gz".
  2. Go to the directory into which OCR Xpress for Java was extracted, open a terminal window and type "./setup.sh" and follow the on-screen instructions.
    For information about directory structure, licensing and environment variables, please see the “readme.txt” file, also located in the same file location after extracting.
    You will need to install Java and Maven in order to have full functionality of the installation.
The installer script must be run as a root user to complete successfully. How you run it as a root user will vary from platform to platform on Linux.

To Uninstall OCR Xpress for Java Component

  1. Delete the folder that was extracted from "OCRXpressJava_3.2_Linux64.tar.gz".
