API Reference Guide > FreqIP Component API Reference > FreqIP Component Functions Reference > DCT Functions > IG_FIP_DCT_inverse_to_image

This function computes the inverse Discrete Cosine Transform of the input HIGCOMPLEXOBJ data.

Declaration:

Copy Code
AT_ERRCOUNT ACCUAPI IG_FIP_DCT_inverse_to_image(
        HIGCOMPLEXOBJ hIGComplexObj,
        LPHIGEAR lphIGear
);

Arguments:

Name Type Description
hIGComplexObj HIGCOMPLEXOBJ HIGCOMPLEXOBJ handle of data to be processed.
lphIGear LPHIGEAR HIGEAR handle of result image.

Return Value:

Returns the number of ImageGear errors that occurred during this function call.

Supported Raster Image Formats:

All pixel formats supported by HIGCOMPLEXOBJ object. See IG_FIP_co_obj_create.

Pixel format of the output image is Grayscale – 8 or 16 bpp.

Sample:

FreqIP

Example:

Copy Code
HIGCOMPLEXOBJ hIGComplexObj; /* HIGCOMPLEXOBJ handle of input data */
HIGEAR hIGear; /* HIGEAR handle of output image */
...
IG_FIP_DCT_inverse_to_image(hIGComplexObj, &hIGear);
...

Remarks:

The difference between this function and IG_FIP_DCT_inverse() is that this function returns a HIGEAR as the result, using the default conversion type IG_FIPDATA_CONV_TYPE_REAL.
